Places to see birds within easy driving distance of le Moulin

John Gooders in his excellent book Where to Watch Birds in Britain and Europe, notes that in autumn nearly ¼million waders arrive at Baie d’Aiguillon (less than 1½hrs drive from le Moulin) and half of them overwinter in the area.
Many other birds are to be seen in the Marais Poitevin. (Marais Poitevin is about 1hrs drive from le Moulin, on the route to Baie d’Aiguillon).
